Radiant Human

Radiant Human is the first of its kind: a roving, fully adaptable aura photography laboratory; an immersive salon of extrasensory image-making.

RH is the portrait practice of New York-based visual artist Christina Lonsdale.

The project responsible for thousands of phantasmagorical photographs, captured all across North America. Christina’s personalized aura portraits embolden participants to open themselves to the ineffable — promoting greater awareness of all the subtle influences affecting our everyday.

My Role - Freelance Project Producer overseeing community building, tour management, brand/project strategy, ticketing, partnerships, and collaborations.

Tour Management

Over the peak of the Radiant Human Tour, Christina traveled extensively from 2015 to 2018. The tour was a combination of private events, public-ticketed events, and special sessions to bring small groups together. Sessions were fostered by a traveling dome as a space to host guests.

As the producer I managed all incoming project requests, vetting their viability and fit, negotiating scope and pricing, and flowing confirmed dates into a travel schedule.

It was a blast to build a community alongside the growth of the project. Each time a subject posted a photo, it piquing the curiosity of their followers and quickly snowballed to always-sold-out tour stops and an influential set of experience guests.

Growing to over 100k strong on Instagram at its height, the community helped to suggest host locations and shape the nature of the project.

It was my job to produce all the content, plan out the content calendar, maintain the defined visual direction, and respond to the community.

The Whitney - A 12-day residency with tickets to the public

Refinery 29 - Created a full-room experience for the second iteration of 29 rooms in Brooklyn.

iamOther - Worked with Pharrell and the iamOther team on a partnership at Complexcon. Check out Pharrell’s Aura.

Instagram’s Instagram - Radiant Human was featured on IG’s Instagram account and photographed VIP’s at IG’s Headquarters.

Goop - Christina photographed Gwenlyth Paltrow as well as participated in the first Goop Summit.
