Specialized Bike’s Equipment Team, partnered with Hovercraft to build concepts and run post-production for their 5 biggest campaigns of 2022. Products ranging from apparel to helmets were captured in locations from the Oregon Coast to Mexico City.
This campaign was the first of the 5 and my personal favorite. Featuring Loic Bruni, a professional downhill mountain biker, in a custom Butter colorway of the Specialized Gravity downhill jersey, the videos are intended to put a comedic spin on race prep for Lourdes,

The partnership with Loic was already in motion when I was dovetailed into this client relationship. I was able to jump in and support in location sourcing, contributing and steering the content concepts, and lining up the Hovercraft team to be on-set with established Specialized photo partners Paris Gore & Aaron Blatt.
Coming out of the production, we quickly pushed these images through post and started working them into butter-paired layouts we shot in-studio.
It’s always great when sports talent is down to get silly in support of the concept. To tie in the butter colorway these videos were released ahead of the downhill cycling event of the year in Lourdes, France.
I wrangled scripts, props, music, post-production, and talent approval. These were a hit with the Specialized community, which was such a great reward.
